Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Als Footy Tips, United Kingdom. Contact: [email protected].

What I collect

If you become a member: your email address, the fact you confirmed you are 18 or over at checkout, and whether your subscription is currently active. I never see or store your card details - those go straight to Stripe.

I may also collect basic, aggregated analytics about site visits (pages viewed, rough location by country, device type). That does not identify you personally.

Why, and on what legal basis

I use your email address to give you access to the members' area, to keep you signed in, and to manage your subscription. The lawful basis is performance of a contract - I can't provide something you've paid for without knowing who you are. Where I keep records for tax purposes the basis is legal obligation.

Who else sees it

Stripe handles payments and holds your card details and billing information under their own privacy policy. Cloudflare hosts the site and stores your email address and subscription status so the members' area knows to let you in. That's the lot. I do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone else, and there are no bookmaker affiliate trackers on this site.

How long I keep it

While your membership is active. If you cancel, your access record is removed. Records connected to payments are kept for six years, because HMRC requires it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask me to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how it's used, or object to its use - and you can ask for it in a portable format. Email the address above and I'll deal with it within one month.

Cookies

When you sign in, the site sets a single cookie so it remembers you're a member and doesn't ask you to sign in on every page. It holds nothing but a signed token and lasts 90 days. It is strictly necessary to deliver what you've paid for, which is why there's no cookie banner asking permission for it.

There are no advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics are added later they'll be a cookieless option, and this notice will be updated.

Complaints

If you think I've mishandled your data, please tell me first and I'll try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Under 18s

This site is for adults. I don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 - if you believe I have, contact me and I'll delete it.
